Attorney Mewborn has been practicing law in North Carolina since 1991. Mr. Mewborn clerked for the Honorable Sidney S. Eagles, former Chief Judge of the North Carolina Court of Appeals, for two years before entering private practice in the Raleigh area. He returned to his hometown of Jacksonville in 1997 to establish Mewborn Law Office and serve his community with quality legal representation through a general law practice. More recently, he teamed with attorney Brett DeSelms to create the law firm of Mewborn & DeSelms, Attorneys at Law, which he co-owns.

Today, Mr. Mewborn maintains a busy real estate and workers' compensation practice and also counsels clients in matters pertaining to civil litigation, personal injury, business and corporate law, and wills and estates.
